On June 7, 2024 at Gaysorn Urban Resort, The Crystal Box room, the company held an event to announce the change of the organization name from “Sime Darby Oils Morakot Public Company Limited” to “SD Guthrie International Morakot Public Company Limited with ambitions for sustainable growth . The company has invited business partners to understand the change of organization name this time. 

For changing the company name this time we are driving change, to uphold and, where possible, enhance our commitments to sustainability, innovation and quality. We are unlocking value within our organisation by doing things differently. We are investing in technology and changing the way people work in our organisation. We are stepping out of our comfort zone because we are so much more than the sum of our parts, and pasts. All that we have already achieved, is but a precursor of what is to come – we are looking forward to an exciting future.
